I don't know either babe! I have never had one & it just doesn't sound appealing to me at ALL! I want to know the person inside...before I ever get to know them in that way!!! I see we are not the only ones here that feel that way...that very nice to know!!! I totally agree with my 2 good friends above me!!! =D

Are you kidding?
The only difference between a one-night stand and having a regular boyfriend/girlfriend is the amount of time involved between the first time you meet and when you have sex. (Well that, and whether you have sex with them again on another time.)
If the chemistry is there you're not going to think it's gross. Just because maybe you think you have to know someone for weeks or months before you sleep with them, other people might find they don't need that long.

while it's not everyone's cup of tea.....it's a way of getting the sexual gratification people are sometimes looking for after a few too many drinks, without having to deal with commitment. They don't have to worry about anyone's feelings, if both people knoe beforehand that it's just a one night affair. They don't have to put any effort into being prince charming, meeting your parents, taking you out to dinner....Eating, sleeping and having sex are the three strongest drives in humans.....so, one night stands fulfil that last urge, without the level of commitment of a relationship.

Something they can't get at home or just pleasure without having a commitment.
And obviously if you are going to have a one night stand you're going to do it with someone you thinks really HOT.
Or because your current relationship is in the dumps.

Beats whacking off which is usually the alternative after a night of carousing and boozing, however I have hooked up with a stalker or two that didn't understand the "one night" part. I dont do it anymore though

I never did the one night stand thing. It just wasn't something that ever appealed to me...kinda liked getting to know the person :o)

I agree with Broken Angel above me never had tried that since married, but once I am not married SHE is the only ONE I have in mind it won't be for a night It would be happily FOREVER with HER my tickle monster
