So basically, you buy your woman flowers to show how much you care because she likes getting flowers and you think your wife should put out more to show she cares because you like getting laid. I think that although many people would disagree, that you have a valid point about sex being an expression of love and that the person you love should want to show you how much they love you by whatever medium makes you the happiest.

However, are you out of your f***ing mind? You can't say that to a woman. It is off limits to try to convince he to have more sex. It is the equivalent of her asking you to kill a man to show her how much you care. That is just the way of the world. Sorry.

Yes! Men and women are two different creatures. What turns a man on does not necessarily do the trick for a woman. It is just the way we were created. Sex for women often begins before you make it to the bedroom. You make her feel great outside the bedroom, she will reward you in the bedroom. An expression of love could include washing the dishes, holding hands, picking up a favorite treat for them. By doing the small things, your ultimate goal of sex will be more likely to occur with more frequency!

Absolutely...simple things like a little note on the mirror before she gets up in the morning saying how much you love her would be great. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate. I use to leave litte love notes in my husband's lunch for him to find while out on the road. Everyone has different ways of expressing their love. It doesn't take money or possesions, but it is more than just sex.

Expressing love has nothing to do with money. Flowers, cards, jewelry etc...all that is nice for some, but not necessary.

Actually, the men that impress me are the ones whom you know they love you without giving you material things. It's not just sex, either. When you know you can depend on your man, and confide in him, AND want to rip his clothes off, that's worth more than a stupid bouquet of roses.

a person should accept the expression of love that their significant other gives them and if they don't feel they are getting the expressions of love they deserve they should find someone who will fit their mold...but keep in mind sex isn't always an expression of love and sex absent other expressions of love can make a person feel like a piece of meat!

I can't complain my husband expresses love thru flowers, card, love notes, sex, kisses, hugs, text messages, telephone calls, cooking, cleaning, rubbing my feet and pregnant belly...He's 1 in a million and he's all mine!! I am blessed!!

Yes.
Love is about so much more then sex! Sex has a role with love but love is also about communication, trust, and all other aspects of the relationship aside from the sexual.

Yes, absolutely. If my boyfriend or husband expressed love "only through sex".... I wouldn't feel very loved! Sex is a great expression of love but it is also a physical desire and need... if I weren't getting special acts of love outside of sex I believe I would feel very uncared for :(

Yes men should express love in other ways.

And to your other question it wouldn't be an expression of the person's love if they didn't feel it.

You're kidding right?

If he only knows how to express love with sex, then he doesn't know what a man is.

Quit being so narrow minded and you will notice that love is being shown to you in a multitude of ways.
