"Evil-do'ers'," a term used by the Masked Avenger, a 1940's superhero to describe the bad-guys.Also, a term used by our current President, to characterize several rogue nations. So, did Bush listen to the Masked Avenger, on the radio, or is the President a closet Woody Allen fan, who saw Radio Days?

I don't think he came up with that phrase on his own. I'm willing to bet that someone older than he handed it down to his speech writers. Why do I think this? He was born in 1946, so I doubt he listened to Masked Avenger as a toddler. Hes also a dimwit and I doubt that he would get or care about Woody Allen's brand of humor. We all know hes a puppet..so it only makes sense

Wow, First let me answer the question. I have heard that line used many time is my 35 years however, I never knew where it came from. Possibly the same for Mr. Bush.
Now to all the idiots who are making cracks about the president's reading ability. How petty can you get? Of course he can read. Most adults in America can, and as far as I know, all college graduates can. Is this due to a lack of real issues to criticize him about?

Regardless of the terms origins it's become common vernacular. Until now, I never knew where the term came from, but had heard it used countless times. I'm sure it's the same for the president.

It's a legitimate term. Oh and it didn't originate in the 1940's on the Masked Avenger. Check it out:
evildoer
Main Entry:
evil·do·er Listen to the pronunciation of evildoer
Pronunciation:
\ˌē-vəl-ˈdü-ər\
Function:
noun
Date:
14th century
: one who does evil
Perhaps you should broaden your vocabulary.

It is a fun, simple, child like term that he got from his writers and thought it would scare his sheeple...since he obviously enjoys this...he'll keep using it until he gets bored or finds another simple, scary one.

If Bush never learned how to read how does he keep out smarting Liberals.
Either he is super smart or Libs are super dumb.
Or maybe both

Since he never learned to read, he probably did listen to the radio all the time.
