Not a good idea. That would be as bad as curing the disease by killing the patient.

Off the subject, what kind of Harley do you have? Dyna Glide here.

I think it is a good idea for Child Molesters. Not all sexual offenses are the same. I think it should depend on the sexual offense the person was convicted of. For example a friend of mines brother was put in jail at the age of 18 for having relations with a 16 year old. He was put on the sexual offenders list for the rest of his life. Him and the same female who are now 30 and 28 have a 3 year old and are married. I don't see why he can't take his child trick or treating. They have to sit in the house in lock down for Halloween and not enjoy the day with their daughter. (not fair) Now someone who was convicted of child rape or molestation, yes. They do not need to have children at or around their homes because you never know when they will relapse into their old ways. I just think it should depend on the types of sexual offense. Also...I don't believe this would cause some type of decrease in sexual molestation among children. If these predators want to get our children, it will probally be when you least suspect it. It doesn't have to be the Halloween Holiday... it could be Easter, Thanksgiving, or even Christmas. You just have to be careful with your kids at all times.

Yeah, I can see this going to court and getting the whole idea tossed out on constitutional grounds. There is no pre-emptive locking up of people in the hopes that it might prevent a crime that the police have no evidence that will be committed.

There are a lot of laws coming about based on sex offender panic. These laws will be on the books for a few years but they will be tossed out eventually.

how many responsible parents let their kids go out alone anyway?
although it sounds good to do this
i think its just another way to get over time for probation officers and parole officers,
aren't they stealing enough money from the tax payers already
