Night swimming!

Every Saturday my dad would take me to the beach.
One place had big rocks underwater (flat and wide). I would swim around (water was about 3 ft. deep) with a small aquarium net and my mask, catching (sometimes!) tropical marine fish for my 20-gallon aquarium at home.
Other times, big amounts of sargassium sea weeds would float in toward shore. I would put a screen up under the weeds, and shake the weeds out in a bucket of sea water that I carried out into the ocean.
I would find shrimp, tiny crabs, pipefish, sargassium fish, trigger fish, a couple of tiny sea anemies, NEVER sea horses!, and snails.
All went into my aquarium at home! Even caught one time a crustacian(?) that lived in the sand. Even tried live gooseneck barnacles on a small rock.
Many of my catches died; especially the sargassium fish, the next day!! Damn. Would have died anyway when the weeds went up on the shore. But the pipefish, trigger fish, and especially the small crabs and shrimp lived a long time and figured out within 1-2 days; FOOD is dropped on the top of the water!!

Sargent Major fish (tiny babies) figured out this in ONE DAY.

Even the snails would come up to me when I looked at the aquarium. A LOT of good memories going to the beach with my dad. Mom would never come. Dad sat and slept.

I miss those days. I miss my parents.

When I was young, I always falls asleep in front of the tv at the living room. Each night, my dad will pick me up and get me to bed. Sometimes, I would pretend to be asleep so that my dad will lift me up. Ahh.... I want to re-live that moment!

My dad dropping me and picking me up from kindergarten everyday, it goes the same with the fact he brought me with him to most places he went. How he picked me up from the ground when i got bitten by a dog and went in bad terms with the owner of the dog
He came to my kinder school and talk to this boy and our teacher, the boy who slapped me in the head,to bring his parents the next day .
He was in the military(air force major) so he was strict with my brothers, but was never to me.

I enjoyed picking flowers in my mom's garden. She would then drive me over to the elementary school, and I'd give the flowers to a nice teacher. I also liked looking at her students all hard at work, and thinking how nice it was to be in kindergarden

My father had an acre pond dug on our property and I was 12 and the first time we fished in it he sang "Susie Q" to me, he always called me that. I cried as my dad sang to me and he died very young and to this day I still hear him singing to me.

A girl kissed me when I was a boy.

But I did not know what to do!

My mother slapped me for that.
