I was tardy for school 4 times in 1 month and i was given 3 days of in school suspension where we had to study and after school detention for 1hr - than after the 3 days they told me I had to go to detention and write 300 lines that i would not be tardy - and when i finish with the lines I would still be assigned detention where i have to write a 5 page essay on what i learned, and when i get done with the essay - I would have to complete another 3 days in detention - But the only problem is i was late another day and now i have to write 1000 lines i was tardy and been assigned detention for 15 whole days - Is this fair just for another day late.

Of course it's fair. If you get a job and are late all the time they fire you, school is just preparing you for the real world.

The first punishment might not be that much fair, if it was your first time to be late. But the second one seems pretty fair. You were complaining about the first and you did your mistake again. You knew the consequences, so it was your fault. But 15 days of detention sucks a lot. Do they allow you to bring PDA? things like that? Otherwise you are in for a long, long 2 weeks.
One thing though, please don't do it for a third time. you may be in detention for a semester. LOL!

Try being on time. These punishments are supposed to alter your behaviour, but it doesn't seem to be working. Concentrate on being on time and the punishments will cease.

Yes -- it sound fair to me.

You just don't seem to learn from your mistakes, do you? You are doing this to yourself. Take responsibility for your own actins, and stop blaming the school.

Quit trying to get out of your punishments. Face up to them, quit trying to get out of them, complete them then you will be off the hook.
