Yes, only some sadistic freak would support waterboarding.

Anyone who thinks that waterboarding isn't immoral, try it yourself. Grab a friend, get a rag, put it over your face, have your friend restrain you, and then have him/her pour water on your face. How long do you think you will be able to go without quitting?

If waterboarding isn't torture I think we should have members of the white house staff and everyone who doesn't think it is for that matter volunteer for a little bit of waterboarding.

I think we should waterboard all of the canidates, and the one who can take it the longest gets the Presidency. Even if my party loses, the individual proves that they are the stongest contender.

No, his written answers to the question will include the information that could not be answered publically. The Senator who asked the question knew that and took full advantage to back stab the man. He will be overwhelming selected and it will be based on his written testimony where we cannot see it. That overwhelming vote for his selection would be an excellent example of the low blows done by Congress.
