I'd stil to XP for a minute because there are a lot of sites that are not Vista compatable yet, such as your online banking, etc.

XP for now. I have Vista and it sucks because almost nothing is compatible with it. Eventually, everything will be just Vista, but now you have a better chance with XP.

Definitely xp. Not everything is compatible with Vista, and they are still ironing out many of the kinks. I heard they are releasing a different operating system soon, so maybe wait for the newest one? If you get a lot of spy ware and ad ware Vista is definitely not a good choice. Ive heard many horror stories about how hard it is to remove on Vista.

I've used Vista and I don't like it so much. I prefer XP.

XP seems to be prefered by a lot of people who have tried both.

I like XP myself. Which one is better? I think that's just personal opinion.

XP for me
Vista still has many bugs and running a PC game on it generally requires higher performance hardware
