They should refund your hotel fee and medical bill plus those expenses caused by travel delay, and change itinertary.

Unless you have very good lawyer to represent you, it is hard to win others because those big brand hotel have BIG legal group( they charge $$$ per night per room to feed those lawyers and consultants) to protect its own interests.

Report them to the board of health. And then quit being so stingy and stop dreaming about taking advantage of the hotel by suing them. Sometimes these things happen in life. It doesn't mean you get a payday.

People suing over dumb stuff like this is the very reason things keep getting more and more expensive. Insurance rates go through the roof, our court systems are clogged up, prices shoot sky high, all because you got bitten by a few bugs. You live in a world of insects. Get used to it!!

You already got compensation. You accepted a free night and payment of your medical bills. What more do you want? It sounds like you are trying to take advantage of the situation. I worked in a hotel and I think they were very generous. Any sane judge would throw it out of court.

Why sue anyone ? If youre reimbursed for the one night and for medicals bills, that should be sufficient. YOU had the choice of leaving there and getting another hotel !!!!
This world is ridiculously SUE happy.
