Well here in America we had trick or treat last night. I had a few but we live in a private community. The gates were opened to allow people in but the gates leading to our individual houses may have been a little scary. I had mine open and got several, not as many as I hoped for. My dog was dressed up as a ballerina and she had the most fun. I also think most people took their kids to this thing called the "Safe House" where all the business put together a boo house and gave out treats. I like the old door to door stuff.
I'm on my way there now so please don't turn out your light!!!

None! I live in an apartment building.
Before though, I lived in a house. When I was very young, we easily had over one hundred trick-or-treaters come by. But then years later, it seemed like they became scared of us or something?! Our house was over 150 years old and looked kind of creepy (old farm house in the middle of town). Figured they were going to the wrong door or something, I put signs up and everything, not a one would show.
Not that I cared, MORE CANDY FOR ME!!! I never went trick-or-treating.

It's only 2pm here in Toledo, so we have about 4 more hours till it starts. But we usually get a bag of 200 pc candy and get about 300 at our door.

None and I like it that way - giving kids candy only encourages their bad diet habits. My son has had only 6 small pieces of candy since last Halloween and that was only because it was given to him by his great - grandmother that he only sees 6 times a year.
If you teach your children good eating behaviors, chances are they will carry them on throughout their lives.
