9...leave the girl alone, you dont know how old she is, and if she's in set 4 then she obviously finds maths hard! it might be a trick question, yeah, but on the other hand it not might be and all you out there slating her are will be knocking her confidence.

It's countable on your fingers. Three lots of three. Or get some buttons or counters and make three sets of three counters then add them all together. As everyone has said, it's nine. Get some times tables charts and have a look at them. You should see some patterns forming. And even if you don't want to learn them, having them available might help you in the future. Good luck.
