Is only an impression of your mind state while in that place?

People always say to me, OMG!!! You went to Thailand!!!???

I didn't go to Thailand, I wend to prison. Prison in my mind, due to the stuff that was going on in my mind at the time.

Thailand was just a blink of an eye for me. It was a one month blink that can be described with the words (at the time) "I hate Karen". I was younger, and stuck on this one woman, who at the time faked getting raped while she got caught cheating on me by her room mate. I was too in love to let it go, so I was captive to my own mind. I could not enjoy a thing, but I had to be there.

You can't have rest until all is well on the homefront.

You can have an impression of a place that you have only seen in pictures, or just from someone's description of the place, can't you?
