Hardwood. I am building a house and putting 6 inch wide hardwood flooring all through it that I had made from trees I cut off of the property.

Hardwood. easier to keep clean. Just use a Swiffer!tm I hate vaccuming.
My house has hardwood in 2 of 3 bedrooms, our first floor, and third floor. tile in both bathrooms and 2/3 rooms in the basement.
three rooms, a hallway, and three staircases all have carpeting.

Like the look of hardwood and tile, but I prefer the feel of carpet under my usually bare feet!

Hardwood floors....but I'm stuck with unfortunate carpets throughout most of my house. I plan on ripping them up soon.
Thankfully I got them out of all my bedrooms where they are most unhygenic.
