Can someone please explan it to me, because I didn't get it?? How was that guy able to express everybody's thoughts???

Also (this is unrelated): Is anyone else getting a tad tired of this "Survivor: House MD"-style plotline?

The patient had mirror syndrome. Mirror Syndrome cause someone to mirror (imitate) the characteristics and symptoms of anyone he sees. So if the patient with Mirror Syndrome were to see someone in the hospital that had an asthma attack, he would imitate the person by coughing and wheezing. The Mirror Syndrome also cause the patient to imitate the people around him. For instance, if he were around House, the patient would begin to act stubborn and sarcastic.

House dressed up in the guys college sweatshirt and brought all his stuff in to jog the patients memory of who he really was. When the patient said he liked to put lotion on his nose because it didn't smell like pig manure. House concluded that the guy worked with pigs and farming fertilizer. Working around the pig fertilizer made the patient sick. That's why he developed the Mirror Syndrome.

Remember how at the very end House and his boss (forgot her name) were in the patient's room? They were trying to get the patient to mirror their personalities to see how they acted.

The man is having a reaction to toomuch pig manure/dung and it has triggered all of the conditions he is having including a mirror syndrome which causes him to act like the alpha person in the room or dominant person in the room, namely House.

As for the plotline, this season is primarily focsed on getting the tea back together, which has people revealing little bits of themselves to see if they can possibly usurp one of the four and become their successors. As I remember it, he only used the Survivor joke once when he pulled out the bunsen burners and had a fire ceremony. He has used the "Big Love" joke far more often than that. He did "The Bachelor" thing once giving out a flower to each person he saved. He is still doing the sexist thing. He is still doing the religious thing challenging God. He did the Apprentice thing dividing the teams into boy girl at first. But,now that Foreman is back you can expect Chase and Cameron to get guilted into rejoining the team in no time. I figure Case will succumb first being as he is the one most like House, taking bets on who will get fired next and then rigging the game so that he wins all the money and splits it with House. I like the fact that Foreman not only figured it out but that he made the patient go without treatment so that he could figure out who would win Cuddy or House. Again he is becoming House. Cameron will be the last to fully recognize this but she will probably get a patient that needs House and have to give in to the temptation to solve the big mystery.

But the answer to your first question was a toxic level of exposure to pig manure poisoning, (Methane and Bacteria) in the man's blood stream.

Cameron, Debby, her name is Cameron.

I hope House absolutley snaps and just fires them all! Then we can get the old team back! Yaaaay!!! Im sure they'll all come back eventually (over this season). I think their reasons to come back will be interesting. I don't think the 'Surviour'-style storyline will go on for much longer, the story arcs in House only seem to run for 5-7 episodes.

It is called "Mirror Syndrome" when you relate to the person you are speaking with or emulate them in some form.

The funniest part to me was the line about not letting him get near the nurses so he would not develop The "B.... Syndrome." What a riot.

I am so glad to see Omar Epps back to give House a hard time.

I guess whatever disease he had made him not able to be himself so he just emulated whoever he was in contact with. It was kinda cool that he was able to really pick up on who they were by just a few sentences. I forgot what the name of the disease was tho. And yes, I'm kinda sick of the survivor stuff too, but I'm a die hard house fan so I'm going to put up with it and see what happens for the rest of the season.

I love to watch HOUSE but this new plot line sucks. I wish he would just hire the new team...I am glad the Dr. Foreman is back.

He had some kind of "mirror syndrome" where he acts like the person in charge. He wasn't expressing their thoughts but just acting like they would act. I love House.
