Since Halloween is on a Wednesday this year, we want our party on a Friday night.

Can you have a Halloween party after October 31st, like say, on 2nd of November?

Yes, there's nothing wrong with that. I think Halloween parties are cool until after the first week of November. Go for it!

Yes, technically Halloween does not start until sunset on October 31st. It is the Eve of the Hallows or if you're Catholic All Saints Day the very next day. Also, there are countless other holidays that take effect after October 31st. Martinmas is one for example. But technicalities aside, when Halloween is in the Middle of the working week/school week ( like it is this year) then I see no reason why you couldn't have it on either weekend before or after wards to be practical.

I BELIEVE IT IS STILL OK TO HAVE A HALLOWEEN PARTY AFTER THE 31ST ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR BEING "TODAY" ON A WEDNESDAY. ITS GOOD BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT!!! ALSO A LOT OF PEOPLE BUY TWO OR MORE COSTUMES AND THIS CAN BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THEM ALL OFF!!! HAVE A BLAST!!!

I recomend you use this at your party!! My guests and I had a hell of time with this:

Devil's Kiss

1 1/2 oz. Goldschalger
1/4oz. Bacardi 151

Pour Goldschlager into a shot glass and float the 151 on top. For added effect you can light the 151.

Hispanic people celebrate Los Dias de Los Muertos after Halloween. You could use some of those customs.

You can have it whenever you want just call it a costume party instead of a Halloween party.

Sure, this would probably be cheaper to seeing as how after halloween alot of candies and costumes go on sale. I dont see why you cant have it after Halloween!

Why not?! There's not RULES out there that say you have to celebrate exactly on that day. Personally I celebrate Halloween 365 days a year.
