Do you think it was just a dream? Or do you think there's a reason behind them?

i've only had two dreams of love one's who died. both were extremely sad dreams. i had a dream about grandfather where he died again but this time right in front of me! i don't think it was a "visit". i tend to replay his death in my mind. my other dream i can't remember too well. i just remember her being sick. next day i felt like crap. it was like i lost her again.

Yes. After my fiance was killed I really wanted to dream of him but didn't. Then about a year later I started having dreams about him perhaps 2-3 times a week. There was nothing strange about them. We were just doing regular things that we loved to do together. I hated waking-up to reality. I think that's why it took a whole year before I had any dreams about him. It's been 5 years now and I only dream of him occasionally. A reason, yes he came to say 'goodbye' because we never had the chance to.

I definitely think there's a reason behind them. I've been broken up from my fiance for almost 2 1/2 years. I've moved on and I'm in the first great relationship since him...yet I still dream about him a few times a month. It's sad...it makes you think about what might have been...but you can't do that to yourself.

I have lots of dreams of my dad and grandpa I believe and this is only want I think. That the reason I dream about them is cuz they are still with me even though I cant see them while I'm awake I see them while I sleep and we are together. I really believe if someone loses a close loved one that person will always be with you & in your dreams.

The only person close to be that has passed away is my mom. and I have no memories of her, so I cant dream of her. I sure wish I could thought.
as far as dreaming of my last girl, It has happened a few times. but it was always her trying to get back with me instead of vice-cersa. so i do enjoy seeing that. lol. even if only in my dreams.

I think there is always a reason why you dream about lost loved ones and yes I have many. Sometimes they are haunting, sometimes they make me cry, sometimes they give me peace, sometimes they make me smile. I think they are our way of coping with losses that out conscious mind can't always deal with well.

There's always a reason behind them. Sometimes I dream of people (family members or friends) before they pass away. And sometimes I dream of people I haven't seen in years.

I had a dream where I had to watch my father being killed by a bunch if jiadists. I think it was a sign that my father shouldn't go on that business trip to Dubai. Scary.

I believe that there is a message of some sort when I dream of my wife who died many years ago. Like all dreams it is difficult to untangle the dream so that I can make sense out of it.

I occasionally dream about my grandmother and occasionally about the woman who was going to be my stepmother. I always feel lonely after those dreams but I don't feel there is any message they are trying to convey.
In my case, just a dream.

Yep it was on the night of the date my sister passed away in a horrible accident. I was with her at that time and had actually seen her die. In the dream she was like with open hands as if celebrating her freedom and smiling happily. had many dreams of her after that.
