You can nuke a bottle in the microwave. The problem that people warn about is uneven heating - you can get some hot spots. To deal with that, don't fill the bottle, and shake it to mix things. Then be sure that the bottle itself doesn't have any hot spots.

Don't put it in as long as you think it should be - you can always put it in for a few more seconds if you need to. If it gets too warm, just add a little bit of cold formula, milk, or water to cool it.

We heat the water in a bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes and then place the bottle in the water, stirring it around a few times until it gets warm. I've found it's much faster to heat the milk back up this way if the milk is in a storage bag (rather than a bottle) then once the milk is warm just pour it into the bottle.

the bottle warmer i found the fasted way. i did the boil water but bottle in it, takes about the same amount of time. holding it under the tap takes to long. i use the microwave now, since bottle warmer broke, but i used it before when i needed a bottle like NOW. as long as u shake the milk after it will even out the temperature. and dont warm the milk up in the plastic bottle, warm it in a glass first.

lol, nope, you've just about covered it. I always left my water out on the counter so that it was room temperature and never warmed it more than that. so the bottled were always about 70 degrees which is good for a baby, but Other than that I would use the microwave for 5-7 second and then shake and test it! the old bowl takes entirely too long!

I put the bottle in a bowl and run hot water over it until it warms. This keeps the water hot and heats the bottle faster.

okay i'm NOT trying to get hated on here, but i've ALWAYS used the microwave. I just found the temp that made the bottle JUST warm, actually about room temp. In my microwave its 17 seconds.. I know i'm not the only one. Or you can buy a bottle warmer. I got one for my 1st baby, but it takes 5 minutes, and when my kid is screaming... I didnt want to wait 5 minutes. good luck to you.

i always just nuked the water by itself first, stirred it up, and then poured it into the bottle with the formula so that i could still add some cold water to it if needed. always worked for me...
