he could have a slight eye infection, my son had that when he was a newborn. the dr will give a Rx for eye cream, & it should clear up in a few days.... DONT let the dr brush you off.

My Baby has the same thing going on...started with a stuffed up nose and one day he had a bunch of green stuff in both eyes. I took in to the Dr. and was told that it was actual sinus drainage. (gross I know) Turns out he had a slight ear infection also caused by all the excess sinus stuff, he was treated for that and was fine. I think your Dr or a Dr should take another look.

Go with your gut. Mother's instinct is the best thing to go by. Take your baby back into the doctors - with goo in the baby's eye, it is most likely caused from either pink eye or sinus infection.

take her in. whenever you have a doubt about anything, it's always better to be safe than sorry. sure you might be over reacting, but sometimes that can be better than under reacting.

if you feel that your doctor is not listening to you and is not giving you good advice, find another doctor.

It's so hard to tell when a baby is sick or doesnt feel good sometimes because they cant come right out and tell us.

You're a mom now and you have mom instincts. Listen to them, and do what you think is best.

Bring her to the doctor, or another doctor and get a second opinion. I wish I had about 2 months ago. I lost my 2 month old twin boy because the doctor told me he was fine but obviously he wasn't.

Find a new doctor,

Sounds like they don't care, You are the mother you know if something isn't right with your child.

Or take her to the emergency room at the hospital.

that is what I would do.
