What is the name of this movie??
This woman has a live where she has a family, when she goes to sleep she wakes up in a different life living with her boyfriend with no children, then she falls asleep there and wakes up with the family again. So she has to spend equal amounts of time sleeping as she does awake so her time spent is equal between the two lives. The whole movie is her trying to figure out which one is reality and which one is the dream.
I am really good about picking the best answer for 10 points so I would really appriciate your help, its for a school assignment.

Sliding doors was a good movie, but it's showing the two alternate realities that could have happened had gweneth made one decision or the other, not two completely different lives that she's dreaming about
Premonition is a good guess, but Sandra Bollock is imagining her husband is dead and not dead, not living two different lives--she's living her days out of order
While you were sleeping is a movie about mistaken identity...everyone thinks sandra bollock is someone's fiance and she's not--it does not have alternate realities.

I agree with passion of mind.. I absolutely loved that movie.. Demi Moore wakes lives in one world where she is a high up business woman, and in the other she is a wife and mother in an earlier time.. although offhand I don't remember WHICH earlier time. I want to say it was early 1900's but I'm thinking it also might have been WAY earlier.
Throughout the movie you have no idea which life is real and which is the dream, and I believe it ended without the viewer finding out..

I saw a movie that is similar to the one you discribed. Thora Birch is the main character. The movie is called Dark Corners. I don't know if this is the one you are thinking of though.
