Hit a curb turning right and rear tire hit the curb. Car drives alright but I can feel the accelaration dragging a little and my tires feel loose as I drive. I also started my car yesterday and a faint metallic sound came from my belt. I turn on the heat and the sound went away. Whats going on?

you need to take it and have it put up on a lift, and have it inspected, you may have done some damage to it,it doesn't take much of a hit now to the newer cars to damage them, but id have it checked to be safe, now days you can do a few hundred bucks worth of damage to one real easy.good luck with it.,PS anytime you ht a curb wit one,it pays to have it checked, its better to be safe than sorry, good luck.

I don't think the two are related.

You need to get your car checked for any damage that may have been caused when you hit the curb, if something is wrong, it could be dragging, causing the acceletaion issue you are noticing.

The metallic sound coming from your belt might signify the need for a new belt, or one of the pulleys may be going out.

If nothing vibrates the faster you go and it doesn't pull left or right when you let go of the steering wheel on a flat highway, then just keep driving until you have a complaint!
