My mars is in scorpio and when I look it up in chart where it tells me the house placement, it doesnt give a roman numeral, it says midheaven. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me something or tell me something so I can understand what it means. Thanks :-)

If Mars(Scorpio) is on the MD,it should thus be read as though it were in the 10th house.If your Mars is exactly on the cusp it still would be physically considered to be in the 10th house,though here it would be even more powerfully placed ,since it would be at the peek of its influence on the affairs of that house.

Midheaven, in simple terms means the sign on your 10th house cusp, that's all. So you look to the degree. If the degree your Mars is in falls before that, it is in the 9th. If it is on the same degree or after that you have on the 10th, then it would be in the 10th.
