well maybe he didnt realize what it would be like to be with the opposite type and since he's with that person im guessing that he probably is satisfied and happy. he chose the guy for a reason and it probably wasn't mainly about the body type it was probably something more. the girl is probably different from any other girls he's been with and that's a good thing.

I am about to be married in the summer to a woman who, physically, looks nothing like I have ever imagined. For a long time I have been very shallow and it never brought me a meaningful relationship, but now I have a wholesome, pure relationship with a woman I love and am going to marry. Do not get me wrong she is attractive, but when I met her I was not as attracted to her as I am now. I did a lot of searching in the bible for the woman I NEEDED...specifically I looked at (Proverbs 31). The lists of attributes there completely describe my fiance and is the reason she has grown more and more beautiful to me everyday. I am not settling, I am not compromising, I am getting a woman who is devoted to God and to me, and that's all that I can ask of God. She takes into account the words of Pro. 31 and applies them in her life and it is evident everyday. Love is not attraction or "love at first sight"...that is only lust and will bring only a meaningless relationship, if it brings one at all. Love is a descision. I am confident that if i fulfill the role that describes for a man to be as a husband, I can make someone grow to love me. The same as my fiance has. Her actions and work ethic is obvious in everything she does and that is why I choose to LOVE her. I am more than satisfied.

It depends on the person and how well he recognizes his feelings in both areas. My preferred body type in women is fairly lean, but I had a couple of unfortunate experiences with their personalities and my two wives have been considerably heftier and large breasted. The second one and I are coming up on 23 years married and the personal interaction is much more satisfactory than any fantasies I might have about lean and svelte sex.

A man does not marry a body type, he marries a woman.

How do you know his preferred type? And IF he is with her then he is satisfied otherwise he would go elsewhere, don't you think? I have seen hot men with really ugly girls and I just figured it was a self-esteem issue...

Because he loves her.

Not many of us ever marry their "preferred body type". Love the one you're with.
