Do you think that if prostitution were legal then it could be monitored to make sure everyone is over 18 and disease and drug free........I think its gross but do we really have the right to tell an adult what they can and cannot do to their body and with their money?

I think that it should definitely be LEGAL. It has been proven that incidents of sexual crimes such as rape and pedophilia are less in countries where prostitution is legal. If a woman wishes to do that as a career then she should be able to do it. Just like, as a man, if I want to have wild sex with a woman as a one-nighter or even repeat performance-no one should tell me that I cannot pay for it!!! Let's wake up America.

Prostitution should not be illegal...as long as its safe I don't see how it can cause any real harm...most countries don't have prohibitions against it and i wouldn't say that makes them worse/better off than the United States and other similar countries.

Granted however as long as its free will prostitution..whorehouses where women are practically forced and pressured into living the life are evil.

Diseases are the major problem with this. As a Christian, I'm not against people doing this legally (Nevada for example) as long as it's well governed and taxed accordingly. If I could be guaranteed that this is the case, then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Yes, we should legalize prostitution--if people are going to do it anyway, might as well make it legal (so we can tax the heck out of it;.)

yes, it should be legal. Prostitution was legal until after Lincoln was president, then those lousy democrats decided to tax everything and prohibit booze and sex and naughty photos.

I think the laws are made to protect the prostitutes from men who want to rape, hurt, kill etc- not protect the people who want to go out and get a prostitute.

It should be legal. Males can use the 'strength' of their bodies for their livelihood (sports, construction jobs, etc) so females should be able to do the same.

it's all about money. The gov could heavily tax it and all would be well.
