I have read that it can steal eggs from the other ovary per someones doctor. I have also read that they are much closer together than they apear to be in a diagram

What i mean that if a woman produces an Egg on her right ovart before she releases it, the other ovary can steal it.

each ovary has its own 'canal' (fallopian tube) leading to the uterus... they cannot cross paths in anyway,nor can they go through one anothers 'canals'

the ovary takes turns in releasing an egg, each month a egg is released and sits in wait for a sperm... if no such luck it will break away resulting in a period - on the other hand the sperm could meet it and a baby is produced.

Not sure what you mean but once an ovary releases an egg, the other ovary will not absorb it if that is what you are asking.

No - eggs are launched from one ovary or the other and proceed to the middle and don't reattach.
