Did ya ever think they might be doing the old Halloween thing of the Village going as a Christmas decoration?
Those days are long gone Mimi. It's now all about having the sales and shopping. Sam's Club here in So Cal had Christmas stuff on sale around Labor Day...............

I have been seeing Christmas decorations in many stores for over a month now. I have just made up my mind that I will do NO shopping in those stores.
Last year I was shopping for a wedding gift near the end of July and Macy's already had their trees up and decorated.

What's the big deal?? Some people don't celebrate Halloween, and maybe they are making themselves "feel" better by putting up "Christmas" decorations and I just don't understand why you would have a problem with it?.... Christmas is almost considered "next month" (well starting at midnight) I don't think it's too soon to put decorations out, although I do wait until the day after thanksgiving. Everyone is different, maybe their tradition growing up was to do it on halloween LOL I don't know!!! :)

ugh vomit in my throat, actually no vomit on the decorations, you should make a point of asking whatever dimwit put up the decorations how much they are spending on electricity in the run up to christmas and could this money not have been better spent on a donation to a hospice/shelter etc. that would be a kick in the teeth for them, after all the christmas spirit is all about charity!

Some idiot down the street had his Christmas lights up and

it is bad enough that the stores have Christmas trees for
sale last month.

I leave my Christmas lights up year round. They are the only thing keeping my gutters from falling off my double wide.
