Somebody is trying to scam you. Yahoo finance doesn't collect the money for ebay sales, the seller does. You're lucky you had trouble with the wire transfer, since if you'd gotten it to go through you'd just be out that much money.

Its a scam - do not send any money at all or you will never see it, or the car, again.
Yahoo don't hold money on behalf of Ebay transactions. Report the matter to Ebay and to Yahoo.
