no but if you had a previous infection the infection will grow; bacteria grows in the heat and hot it doens´t grown in cold so. If you feel itchy for having intercourse in your bath tube, either your partner had an infection that increased in the hot water, or you had it before and it increased with the hot water too.

Try to take yoghurt everyday it has a bacteria able to kill bad bacteria from your vagina, I take it everyday.
If you think you have an infection; you can also put plain yoghurt NO sugar added to help it.
But you have to use also and antimicotic cream, if it doens´t go in a few days with your personal care, you have to g to your doctor so you don´t make it worst; infections that don´t have a good care can affect your cervix.

Good luck! ;D

I was watching talk sex and Sue said that when you have sex in hot tubs or pools can cause infections like yeast and UTI's. I think it's because the water is being pushed up there. I can see most certainly how it can cause UTI's because I'm pretty sure I've gotten them by just taking a bubble bath (no intercourse). Not sure about yeast infections but I don't see why it couldn't cause a change in the chemical balance and cause fungus overgrowth. I wouldn't say it's ok..but ask your doctor and look up yeast infection causes and decide for yourself if you think you'd be ok.

I'm not sure that it can cause "yeast infections", but for some people it can irritate the urethra and cause "bladder infections". Personally, I am very sensitive and even if I'm not engaging in sexual activity I have to be careful in a hot tub because of the chemicals and such...

taking antibiotics can give you a yeast infection. you can get one for no apparent reason. but the hot tub in my opinion has never been the culprit in getting one.

No. I never even heard of such a thing. And we have a hot tub. Sex in the hot tub is too hard.

the chemical in the tubs usually kill off all your normal fauna and flora, what that does is leave you wide open to bacterial vaginitis, so I wouldn't recommend it.
