I like Kyle better. Nicholas reminds me of an 80's name. My nephew is named Kyle and I have to admit I did not care for it at first, but now I really have grown to love. Short, classic, Irish name. Kyle Nicholas is nice if you really like both names.

Its so funny to see this question. Obviously I love them both, because my 1st two sons are Kyle Ryan and Nicholas Micheal, my others are Zackary Thomas and Lucas Andrew.
But I think Nicholas is my favorite among the two.
