I know I do. and i know thats what my parents did too just to be at the level of whites here where we live. my family and i went from living in one of the worst cities in the country (southcentral & compton) to owning a beautiful 2 story home in a beautiful spot in southern New Hampshire. How did they do this? They said they examined their white counterparts, and aimed at working at least twice as hard as they did. had they not done this, u'd probably still find us in the corner of ghetto old crenshaw and main street with the rest of the african americans and mexicans who decided to just keep doing what theyve been doing like if theyve never met a white person b4. as a minority, you cant be left doing what whites expect you to be doing. you gota just be determined and focused to know that by working at least twice as hard as they are, anything is possible.
