I have, but sparingly, and only when I am alone in the head, if someone opens the door, I get off. I was in an airport bathroom one time and this guy was not only on his phone, but he was obnoxious too boot.

So, I added a nice movement to his conversation, a bowel movement that is, I let roar with the flatulence to suspend his conversation, but the guy kept going like it was no big deal. I often wonder how people go throughout life like that, totally oblivious to others - ah well, I tried to irk him into compliance anyway.

P.S. By the time I left the stall the moron was gone, so no way to accost him later.

Use my cellphone many places, including the bathroom. Even if I didn't, I clean off the outside of it with Germ-X about once a week. I don't give a second thought of anyone using a cell phone anywhere, unless the ring tone is loud.

I have never used a cell phone in a restroom. What other people do is there own business of course but I think that public toilets should be kept as quiet places so I really don't approve of people talking loudly.

I've never used one in the toilet, but I've been subjected to conversations from others one or more stalls down.

Being the curmudgeon I am, I softly join the conversation. When the neighbor asks a question of the person on the phone, I softly answer with some imbecilic reply. I once had a guy say, "hold on" and then loudly called out to me something like, "It's very rude to listen in on private conversations." I chortled and flushed -- and beat a hasty retreat.

Murphy's law dictates that the moment one's buttocks touch the seat of the toilet, one's cell phone rings, and the caller is the potential employer of one's recent interview calling to say whether one got the job, the lawyer one has been expecting a call from for the last 4 hours, or the school asking one to collect one's sick child from school. Hopefully it is not one's teenage child ringing to say they are doing maths homework and are stuck because they have forgotten their calculator, or other public toilet users may hear one say impatiently "just work it out with a pencil!"

Yeah. That's the only way we can really make calls in our school now after our new principal ban the use of cell phones even during lunch. And even there we have to be careful not to be caught.

S*** smeared on the toilet, the trash can and the walls. Guess who had to clean it? Yep. Someone followed me into the bathroom of a restaurant I used to work at to give me a tip. I was flattered and creeped out at the same time.

Heard all about a guy's problems with his daughter's teacher, while I was in the stall next to him in the airport. He was so loud, that after a while I started offering my opinions on the subject during his conversation (hoping he'd take the hint... he didn't, and actually asked me to mind my own business!).

But it's probably safer to talk-and-poop than it is to talk-and-drive.

As a side note, wouldn't the person you are talking to be able to hear you flush??

I've texted someone while standing in the restroom, but I never call anyone or take a call while in there, I go outside.
