Remember how there was Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, HUGE nuclear program? and then US toppled their regime? How many times can Americans be fooled?

delphi - there is not 'correct'/'incorrect' here. It's just a poll that indicates that, there may perhaps be a different polls that show otherwise. You can always find polls to support any stances. That's why I'm asking this question. To see what the Yahoo population thinks. At least this demographic seems to be against the strike.

What majority .

Polling downtown or in the malls or by phone only reach people , working within a flawed system that have been indoctrinated into a police state mentality in which punishment is deemed the answer to every problem .
Only a few people are committed enough to work around such a delusional group of people and suffer from a mild form of brainwashing in that they have become dependent on the system .

Millions of americans work for a living and could care less about the rat race or who is running the country and just want a hot meal a good woman and a cold beer and to be left alone . These people would be real mad if politicians and those running the police state and supporting it caused this nation to be nuked by Russia or China for attacking Iran .

Last night, I heard the front running Democratic candidates say that they would not accept Iran having nuclear weapons. They then discussed the diplomatic course they would take.

What no except maybe Hillary was willing to address was what to do if diplomacy fails. Bombing Their reactor is probably the plan B. I think what this pole is telling you is that if diplomacy fails, most Americans are on board with plan B.

No one I know wants another war, but no one trusts Iran to have Nukes. In the next two or three years, we are going to have to chose and a B2 over an Iranian reactor may be the only sure answer.

I see a distinct minority of 29% favoring an attack on Iran.

The Zogby poll asks if they would support the destruction of a nuclear reactor in Iran - not a out of the blue bombing.

A majority of Americans supported bombing Iraq also. When the Bush war machine starts whipping up the rhetoric people fall for it every time. This country is going down the tubes because of non-thinking citizens.
