If the stranger came to my plate to eat the food from it, I would imagine he would be hungry. I 'd just give him my plate.

I did once. We were in a restaurant having breakfast and the waitress had just brought my plate....the guy in the booth next to us with his family, said, "Wow that looks good! I wonder what that is"....So I asked him if he wanted to taste it. He said..sure. Grabbed his fork and took some. He liked it so much him and his wife ordered it. So yes...but it all depends on the circumstances. I have to offer it, you can't just come up and touch my food. You could lose a finger that way.

no that is rude. I don't even like when the kids try to eat off my plate. If they want something they can go get it themselves or eat what they have on their plate. It is the same when they try to drink out of my drink. If they do it without asking I just give them the drink. if they ask i tell them no, that is how germs spread really fast. (mono for example)

Good god no! i`m really odd about things like that, If her fork hit my plate ther would be an eruption, my wife does it to wind me up sometimes, thinks it is really funny ha!
