We should at least take a glance at the landing site before we leap to avoid falling flat on our face or getting stuck in the mud. But we can never reach 100% cerainty in our undertakings. Looking too long can make us miss great opportunities, not looking at all can get us into trouble. Finding a happy medium is an art.

You can over think things and end up making the wrong decisions. Sometimes the best decisions are made quickly going with the gut. What happens is when you over think things you actually create the very problem that you most fear.
