Just wondering if this works and if it works right away or if it needs to be in your system for awhile first.

I don't know of any bladder problem that would benefit from taking calcium citrate. I take it because I had gastric bypass and it is highly absorbed

I've never heard of Calcium Citrate for this problem, but I did once take Potassium Citrate for cystitis. It helps to reduce the acidity of the urine, and is a good first aid remedy if you're just uncomfortable. If you've actually got an infection, you'll need to see your GP for anti-biotics.

calcium citrate relates to kidney function, not bladder function, the relationship is that calcium citrate will not contribute to the formation of kidney stones as calcium gluconate and calcium carbonate most certainly will.
