It's a sad day for me bex. My brothers birthday, he'll be 45 this year and I've not seen him or spoke to him for 20yrs this Christmas. It breaks my heart to think I could have walked past him in the street and not even recognized him.
I'll get the sweets in for the neighborhood kids and go along with all the rest of it, but my thoughts are always with Joe.

Well my 6 year old daughter has a Halloween supper party to go to at 5:00 so I plan on leaving work a bit early and pick her up and get her in her costume (shes being a zombie bride) then after the party I have to pick her up and take her around trick or treating, then we also want to go take her to the haunted house at the Rec centre....and to top it off we bought the dog a costume also this year, shes going as a witch. So needless to say its going to be a busy night!

Handing out treats to all the trick or treaters, regardless of age. Some people have a cut off age and as long as the kids are polite ,they get some treats. Happy and safe Halloween everybody.

Hi Bex - wanna laugh - well my house is a 'treat house' and we've been cooking most of the day. My last job was opening a tin of tomato soup( 'cos some of the little ones don't like too many spices- it's to go on the spaghetti)- you know the ring-pull tins - well I just pulled the ring and splattered half the tin all over myself - 'oh goodie' said one little one-nanny's covered in blood !!I'm dripping in the stuff, all over my glasses and right down to my feet !
Apart from that it's gonna be lots of kids and adults and plenty of 'trick n treaters' round the door and then off to a party down the local later on. We've got pumpkin soup, pies, sausages, onions, rolls. pizzas and blood to drink -i.e.Ribena or rosehip for the kids and port and red wine for the adults.
The outside of my house is decorated with black/orange lights, pumpkins, skeletons etc
What are you doing ?

A woman I work with is having a fancy dress party.

We're going earlier and leaving early because my son is not even 6 yet, but he's going as a skeleton.
I thought that would be good enough and that I wouldn't have to dress up, but OH no they're making me.

So I took a stand...............................no halloween costumes for me......................PINK PANTHER! lol
