= 2x(x-1)

Ironduke (1st answer) your factor is wrong.

8x^3-6x^2+2x is NOT equal to (2x)(4x +1)(x-1)

2x (4x +1)(x-1) = 2x (4x^2 -4x +x -1) = 2x(4x^2 -3x -1)
= 8x^3 -6x^2 -2x <----- Notice the -2x, it's NOT +2x
