hey guys
i am getting an MRI on my knee.
[look in my asked questions for more details]

and i was wondering
does it hurt?
and do i have to get an injection for it?

hi paul!,
no, a mri does not hurt. i've had 4 total (1 on each knee and 2 on my back). did not have any injections. the only downside is you have to lie still inside this long tube. it's pretty noisy, so they might give you headphones. it make a noise like a big stomach growling or a humongeous cat purr. you'll do great. good luck.

MRI is very painless..Its a machine you go into and they do have open and closed ones and they take a picture of your knee no injections needed..

They might give you a dye intraveinously.

But the actual MRI does not hurt.

an mri does not hurt. It is like an x-ay. It is NOT invasive and you do not need an injection.

nah. you just have to sit still and they slide you into the machine
