I am sick, I have been for the last 2 days, but I am a little feeling better and I want to go trick or treating tonight. But, if I tell my mom, she will probably think I was faking being sick or I am faking being better. (I actually still am not felling 100 percent good.....Maybe 80 percent....... or 50 percent......) Do you think I should even ask her to go? Halloween only happens once a year and this is one of my last years I can go before I get too old (I am in 6th grade).

yea u should go, just wear a jacket, and if u get tired and feel worse, then cut it short
does ur mom know u were sick? if she does tell her u feel good enough to trick or treat
if she doesnt know and doesnt suspect ur sick, the ask her to take u.

Tell her exactly what you said, that Halloween only happens once a year and this is one of your last years you can go before you get too old. And maybe talk her into at least an hour, maybe 2 of trick-or-treating. That way you aren't outside too long, and still getting the little fresh air you need to get a little better. Tell her you still aren't feeling well, but you're bummed you're going to miss out on trick-or-treating.

Just tell her you want to go trick or treating, even though you don't feel 100% better, but you still want to go. Pretty much the same thing you just posted.

i agree i kno how parents are when it comes to being sick.."u were too sick to go to school but not too sick to go out?!!?" blah blah blah...i am almost 18 and i feel like halloween spirit is dead...i love halloween and wish i could have more fun..have fun before3 you have to take on the responsibility of a job..just ask her and explain how u feel about it...and ask her to go..if you dont feel well while your out there just go home and get rest..you've got plenty of other halloweens and its not worth getting your self more sick over...good luck!!

Happy Halloween!!

Ask her to go with you, then after awhile when you start to feel worse, tell her she was right and we should go home now.
You do have 5 more years to go trick-or-treating after this year.

Tell her that you will either go with her or her friends. You have to be with an adult or something your parent trusts. Also, you need to have a cell phone or a way to contact each other so she can make sure you can be trusted.
