It took me a good 20 years to be able to watch The Exorcist by myself so I think that movie alone is my top 5. Next would probably be the first Halloween movie followed by Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and I also like the older ones like Psycho, Alien, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Shining, and Jaws.

1.Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte - black and white. I was 11 years old when I saw this one.
2.Night of the Living Dead - did not watch any of the sequels.
3.Exorcist -only the 1st one.
4.Friday the 13th - only the first one. I tried watching the 2nd one and found it a typical sequel.
5.Halloween 1 and 2. Didn't watch the others.
6. IT - I absolutely hate clowns but did watch it after reading the book. Never again.
7. Barbarella with Jane Fonda - only because of that stupid walking doll with the metal clacking teeth. I hate dolls.
8. Amityville Horror - the original.
9. Jaws - not spooky scary but made you jump scary.
