For a long time I have wished I could be in a position to just walk up to strangers in a public place that look like they are in need of help and seem to be deserving and hand them an obscene amount of money and say " this is your lucky day, I hope you use this wisely and let it change your life". What an awesome feeling that would be! I would like to do it over and over, not just for one person. As far as most of the money, I would definitely make my family members and a few best friends comfy and then buy myself 2 homes, in 2 totally different areas of the country. One a beach home and the other in the mountains. They would not be huge or ungodly expensive but just comfortable and nicely furnished, 2 nice but reasonable vehicles, (1 to have in each location). A couple 'toys', a great and well deserved vacation in some exotic tropical location, a shopping spree for clothes and personal things and invest what's left other than a fat checking account to keep the bills paid and enjoy life. Work?..... HELL NO!!!

If I won this amount in the lottery and I didn't need to tap into my own wealth, I would get in touch with a major university that specializes in crop fertilizers and see if they can develop a fertilizer that would enable basic foods to be grown under harsh natural circumstances. Once this was accomplished, then I would take a trip to those parts of the world where people are starving because their crops have been failing and do what I could to bring in this special fertilizer that would help the soil to produce the basic crops that would feed these people.
I would probably get so involved in this project, that I would end up matching these funds with my own to make sure the project was successful and accomplished the desired goal.

That idiot's gonna be broke within 10 years!
As for me, I'd pay off my house, student loans, bills and such, give to my high school, college, and save the VAST majority of it! No Bentleys or bling here!!
Go watch "THS Investigates: The Curse of the Lottery" whenever you can. Eye-opening stuff on people who've actually won, but most of them ended up being penniless. Idiots.

I would pay my bills off, then try to help various charitable organizations, especially childrens cancer research and St Judes. I would also like to give help to food banks and homeless shelters to try to get people off the streets. I would never keep this kind of money to myself, as long as I could work in the charitable field without losing my home or belongings then I am happy.

Hey pretty lady,
wow, I thought I was a nerd! I can say with all honesty that I would not do that. I would just use it to live off of while I finish school. I would invest a great deal of it as well.

That's stupid if you ask me. I would give a HUGE amount away to charities and worthy organizations, scholarships and things like that. I would buy more land and develop it for recreation, do some consulting work if I felt like it and enjoy life!
