Whenever I talk to this person, he becomes very aloof and doesn't talk to me. And whenever he does talk, he acts as if he does not want me to be his friend. Slowly, I stopped talking to him. But now, we hardly talk. We do nothing. I want to talk to him and be his friend. What do I do? I'm a guy. And he's not my crush.

Talk to him and find out whats going on. Maybe you said something that made him upset with you. Or there is always rumors flying around about everybody that always seem to come up not true. If he is a true friend than you should be able to find out what is going on. Good Luck

For one thing stop trying so hard. Sometimes the more we try the worst it gets. You like him but maybe he is unsure about you. If you keep pushing you'll never become close. You may want to much from him and maybe he is feeling uncomfortable. Just ask him what the problem is and maybe you will understand where he stands. If not just let it be. You are makeing it harder for yourself then it is for him. Time will tell, thats all you can do.

I am writing this with my personal experience, when you encounter such situation the best thing to do is taking him out for a cofee and then slowly and peacefully put out your thoughts in front of him and tell him the truth also tell him what you expected from him. What is the worst that can happen anyway you are not getting anywhere with this, this way at leat you will know what he thinks, he will know what you really think about him and how you care. For all you know he may be thinking the same about you... so friend please dont waste any time talk to him....ASAP!

Get over it. Some people just DON'T like you, and it has nothing to do with whether or not you offended them. It's got to do with pheromones which, contrary to popular belief, affect platonic relationships as well as romantic ones.
I'm sure there's been at least one person who, for no particular reason, you just didn't care for. I know I've felt that way, and I've been treated that way too. Just move on with your life. This guy isn't God or anything, so what do you care if he doesn't talk to you?
If you don't stop, you're just gonna make yourself look like a jacka*s.

Just call him up and casually ask him how he is and what's going on. If he doesn't seem to want to talk to you then maybe he's decided he doesn't want to be friends anymore. If that's the case, then sorry, but you're better off without him. Sometimes people just grow apart.

Just leave him alone. You give no reason other than that you wish to be his "friend" as to why you wish to talk to him, so it sounds like all you care about is yourself. That isn't what a friend is. Friendship is about both people. So if you have no regard for how he feels then you can't be his friend, even if he did decide to speak to you.

I'm sorry to say that he is either hurt/angry about something you did or just doesn't want to be your friend. The best thing to do is bite the bullet and ask him, even though the answer might be painful. At least you'll know how to proceed.

Give him some room.
He may be going through a rough period in his life and needs to focus on other things.
The best you can do right now is let him know you are there to talk if he needs to and leave it at that.
If you don't hear from him after a while, sporadically call/IM/email him and let him know your offer still stands.

maybe u can try to find a new friend. he seems a little uninterested right now but maybe in the future he will change his mind and if he does still be open and accept him.
