Halloween is anti Christian, therefore, the far left admires it.

I live in Southern California and just about every school I know does not allow costumes and any party is harvest relatied. There is nothing wrong with celebrating a harvest. It's not like there are rituals or prayers going on. Whatever might have been have long since been forgotten or disgarded by most. Where do you live that you aren't allowed to speak in public about Christianity? School and the work place are not proper venues to discuss these topics.

Although it is a pagan holiday, celebrated worldwide, there is nothing "Holy" about it (i.e., "holiday" is derived from the words "holy" and "day"), and virtually nobody takes it seriously, these days (except, apparently, for you!).
Every nation that celebrates it, does so in its own unique way (refer to the link below for some great info!). These days, at least in the USA, it is simply an excuse for kids to dress up and get candy (or not!), and, for some adults to go a little nuts at Halloween parties!
There is nothing politic about Halloween, and the last thing anyone needs is for another "politically correct" doctrine to abolish an innocent festival for no valid reason!
And, nobody is "driven out" out of anything for mentioning religion in public or school. Yes, the student might be chastised, and the public may bolt at the sight of another religious zealot trying to nail them to whatever religious artifiact is handy, but nobody is expelled from school or mercilessly beaten in public for mentioning religion, so stop trying to instigate trouble!
Presumably, you are Christian, so either take your kids out of public schools, or, at least, ask your teachers to take the kids out of the room when Halloween is celebrated (I guarantee that'll make you REAL popular with them! No oncoming rebellion, there, pal!). ;)
Regardless, you seriously need to lighten up!
P.S. As long as you mentioned the school system, you are in need of a class in remedial English!

Yes, Halloween is a religious holiday. It is a celebration of all that is evil. I make no apologies for my beliefs.
I don't celebrate Halloween anymore, because I am a Christian. I believe God is offended by people celebrating Halloween. Think about it from his vantage point- would you like it if your children were celebrating about your arch-enemy?
But, I do think that children should have fun on Halloween. It is a time of innocence. I LOVED getting candy on Halloween when I was a little boy. It was so much fun!
I am not here to get up on a soapbox and preach. Everyone needs to decide for themselves if they want to celebrate Halloween or not. But for me, I choose not to. I am going to praise Jesus and praise God for the rest of my days. I appreciate my Lord Jesus giving me life, freedom, and love. I love you Lord Jesus!
I don't know about the reasoning why liberals don't try to ban Halloween. Some liberals are really good, intelligent, insightful, caring, family oriented people. Some truly are! Please bear that in mind.
I think that most ordinary people don't think of Halloween as a religious holiday. If they did, things might be otherwise.
I belong to my Father, God, and his realm of heaven. I am just here temporarily in this world to attend to a few pressing matters.
Many holidays may come from pagan beliefs. I am not going to let it discourage me. Don't allow it to discourage you, either. You are entitled to believe what you wish, and express your heart here.
I do not think that we should ban Halloween. But I think that we Christians should not celebrate it, either. We don't have to take part in it. It is our choice.

The left has never tried to ban any holiday, religious or otherwise. The only objection is to religious displays on government property, and even those would be acceptable if there were room for displays for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, etc., alongside the Christmas displays. You fundamentalist wackos need to stop spreading lies and get a life.

Actually, my school does nothing for Halloween, but we get two weeks out around Christmas (a christian holiday).
Shut up and stop complaining. Everything is not a conspiracy against christians.

Gone are the days when all beliefs were respected. When I was a kid, if Halloween, or any of the other holidays were celebrated and went against someone's beliefs, they stayed out of it They just sat quietly and no one's feelings were hurt. I miss those days.

Don't know and don't care. I refuse to give candy to the ADULTS that come by so we turn out the lights and pretend we aren't home. I think Halloween is dumb!
When we had a lady that was collecting candy for an infant, that was too small to eat candy, that was the "straw that broke the camel's back!"

Actually, it's secular for most people.
Only a few neo-pagans celebrate it, and we aren't celebrating Halloween, but Samhain, which is never mentioned in those secular celebrations.

The left does not attempt to control every aspect of people's lives. The right is responsible for that. You wanna blame someone, blame them.
