Why not . If Prince Charley can marry cause he committed adultery and is a divorcee. Why cant' that be the case. Remember the Queen and her old heroe isn't going to live forever. Society is changing.

Princess is the title given only given the following members:
- legitimate daughters of a monarch
- legitimate male line granddaughters of a monarch
- the wife of a prince
Queen is the title given only to a female monarch, equivalent to the male title King.
A Princess may become a:
- Heiress presumptive (provisionally scheduled to inherit a throne, peerage, or other hereditary honor, but whose position can be displaced by the birth of an heir apparent or of a new heir presumptive with a better claim to the throne) or
- Heiress apparent (who cannot be displaced from inheriting)
Only a royal princess who is first in line to the throne either as an heiress presumptive or heiress apparent is designed to be "Queen."
Now to answer your question:
In the past, there were a few known monarchs who were "homosexual or bisexual.” A monarch must marry the opposite gender to produce an heir and in order to carry on the royal family line. Historically, monarchs who were either homosexual or bisexual still married and produced many offspring and kept their "same-sex love affairs" on the side.
If a monarch refuses to marry the opposite gender, then he/she will be forced to abdicate in favour of the next person in line or be disowned (like the gay Indian Prince who came out of the closet last month and now he has been disowned by the Indian royal family and sued for “damaging their reputation”).
