I would have to agree with jon c. The Cavs,Indians and Browns have all suffered major defeats. John Elway's Drive was against the Browns. MJ and his famous last second jumper over Craig Ehlo of the Cavaliers. Those powerhouse Indians could not win a world series. The biggest kick in the nuts is when the Browns moved to Baltimore,Became the Ravens and won the Superbowl. Nuff said

Philly would get my pick but how about adding Minnesota in the realm? 4 Super Bowl losses plus having one of the best offenses in Moss and Culpepper and losing to Atlanta on the final play of the conference championship. Losing the North Stars to Dallas and then having Dallas win the Stanley Cup a year or two later. The Timberwolves having Garnett and getting close a few times. I'd rather live in Cleveland or San Diego and root for the current teams over what Minnesota has.

I'm biased towards Cleveland, because I'm from there, but you can make a case for each. Philly has more teams than Cleveland, but has won more recently. San Diego has never won, but they have less teams and the fanbase is less rabid about it.

Depends on how you define plagued. I say Houston first the teams are poor, but also the coverage of sports is the worst of any sports city in this country. The Newspaper's coverage is horrible, the Sports Radio is awful and the TV coverage is mediocre at best. So I nominate Houston as the worst sports town in the USA......Truly plagued

Gotta say Seattle.
The Supersonics are about to leave.
Once Griffey left, the Mariners have been disappointing
The Seahawks finally made it to the Super Bowl, only to have the Refs take it away from them.
