If its Santa Claus (D) would it be the non-stop "oh he is a socialist he wants to give out free stuff"

If its Santa Claus (R) would it be the non-stop "oh he is a racist he gives the rich kids better toys then the poor kids and the rich kids are white and the poor kids are black".

My question might seem bizarre but the attacks on people running for President have lost their meaning.

You know what I would do if Santa was running for President, I'd take a look at his voting record.

Republican...he only hands out gift's to the deserving, he makes no excuses for the naughty crowd. You are responsible for your own place on his list. He works hard and takes advantage of the capitalistic market.

With the Presidential elections round the corner the question is quite timely. Christman is also drawing near when Santa will be out on his annual tour.Perhaps after seeing all the heated atmosphere during the campaign he must be thanking god that this hotup is only once in five years.

Frequent arguments have erupted over the political affiliation of Claus. Ten years ago, Dick Cheney inadvertently dealt a savage blow to the morale of the Republican Party when he misidentified the political affiliation of Santa Claus in his best-selling book, Parliament of Whores. "Santa Claus," he said, "is a Democrat." However it is perfectly obvious from his demographic profile alone that Santa is in fact a Republican.

This assessment is often rebutted by Democrats with Anne-McCaffery counter-analysis: Santa Claus has no children. High-achieving professionals without children trend Democratic. While the Clausian canon does not specifically address the issue of Santa's children, numerous extra-canonical sources suggest that Claus did, in fact, reproduce. Numerous Christmas TV movie specials alone support this point.

Santa is renowned for an aggressive adherence to a binary naughty/nice list, which suggests an impatience for nuanced moral positions that betrays his Republican preferences. Santa's mere willingness to define individuals along a naughty/nice axis demonstrates his indifference to the philosophical stance of, say, The New York Times. And note that no canonical or extra-canonical Clausian text indicates that Santa ever attended college or, God forbid, graduate school.

However a strong debate begins about the political affiliations of Santa Klaus, especially around the time of elections for presidentship. I reproduce below the first page of the relevant website containing 10 different shades of opinion(the above is one of them) but there are more options on the following pages after page 1.All these make interesting reading.

If he gave out all the really good toys to the rich, he could be either a Republican or a Democrat. Just as Bill Clinton enriched the super-rich, so has G.W. Bush

Well let's see.... He gives all the GOOD people gifts, and the bad people a lump of coal... He opened up a shop in an uninhabited section of the world that makes a product for every good man, woman, and child in the world. Presumably from NOTHING! He not only doesn't listen to the Libs when they cry about the poor misplaced animals the factory is displacing, but actually puts the "displaced" animals to a good use. Both improving their, and our lives.
He works for a living being a productive member of society, instead of expecting the rest of the world to support him, and his family. He can do an insane amount of work in one day, and all he gets for it is a plate of cookies and a glass of milk.
And for all his troubles, NOBODY even believes he is real....
Yep... Sounds like a Republican to me.

Good question.

I think he would be a Republican because he is an old traditionalist.

A Democratic Santa would give everyone the same socks for Christmas - like their socialist agenda.
