My friend said that when she goes to take a bath or shower, that she always pretends that there is someone she is kissing like the door or her arm, what is this? She is 14.

When I was younger I had a friend who was a few years older than me. I remember when she was about 13 she started saying wierd things like that. If we were in the pool she would say things like "the water running over my legs feels like Steve is running his running his hands up and down my legs." Even then I knew that was very young to be thinking like that. I told her it was weird. She never said it again, but I know she still thought it. I think it is just because she is going through puberty, and her hormones are takeng effect.

Have ever been around young girls playing house. They have a complete world going in their head You should remember that at 14 She is a woman hormonally but a girl in her head. Romantic encounters in her head are how she deals with sexual urges. . Like you and your Penthouse magazine, only she can do this in her imagination. And don't talk about this with other people,.that was a secret.

To answer your question, she is curious and wondering what it would feel like to kiss a guy. Better there than in person....things can get out of hand for young teens.
