As a little kid we were out in the country, my dad was the foreman of a ranch/farm. I learned my language from farm hands and it was pretty ripe. My bro (5 yrs my sr) used to tell mom I was cussing at him, I would look innocent and walk off. Boy do I remember this one, he made me mad at noon one day, I was 4, I put my hands on my hips and let er rip. Dad was in the garden and heard me---don't have many fond memories of belts either.

OH, hell yes! I couldn't do anything as a kid without getting caught..it was if a network of spies laid in wait for me to screw up...the news was home before I was! I got to the point that, when I had done something perhaps not exactly "cricket," I would walk in the door fully expecting reprocussions. .. and I was rarely disappointed. Strange, no matter how well I knew I would be caught, I was always trying to get away with it anyway! Is that the definition of crazy? OR at last one of them? Hmmmm Peace, Phil

I wonder what has you asking this question? LOL!

I can't think of anything, but, there were times I swore I couldn't do something then decided when I was alone to try. This way if I messed up, I wasn't caught. I don't like looking dumb.

Oh yes. When I was a kid my curiousity got the best of me way too many times. I was good one for taking things apart that did not belong to me and then when it was time to put it back together could not for the life of me.Remember many times my dad was upset about stuff like that. I too remember the leather belts. When he unbuckled you knew it was going to be bad.

Yes. Smoking. I was in a hospital bed when smoking was legal (I was 19). The girl in the bed next to me had cigarettes and asked if I smoked. So I took one and lit up. In walks mom and dad. I curled up my fist and put out the cigarette in my hand. But they still knew, even though I reeked of smoke and said it was her, not me!

yes but I didn't know I knew how to do it. My sister wanted me to find out info for her on the net. For some reason I have the least time and experience but everyone thinks I can locate any info.

Changing out the toilet parts. I actually didn't' know how to do it, just read the directions. I sort of did it just to show my ex husband that it needed to be done, I THOUGHT he would take over and do it, instead he just old me to keep trying! Guess it sort of backfired??

I think sometimes I'm just to lazy to figure out how to do something. Then when I see no one else is going to do it, I give it a try myself. Then they say, 'see you knew how to do that'.

Nope. If I ever did something, I had to confess. My face would be a dead giveaway to my guilt.
