I was looking at staying at the Palms in Vegas in June for a celebration. I was wondering if their was a way I could get a cheaper rate on the room. I know that if I get it early enough it will be at it's regular rate. I was wondering if it would go down any further depending on the number of rooms I got.

By far the cheapest that we have found is travelworm.com
We just booked a trip there and I did hours of searching.
Orbitz & Travelocity are other great ones to check out as well. You can usually get great airfare/hotel combos from these places. And if you can stay during the week, you are going to save a ton of $$ too.

If you are willing to stay somewhere else on the strip, you will also save big. You are not in Vegas to hang out in your room. Most have everything you need at 1/2 the price of your high end hotels. And the basic rooms aren't always better for the money. Remember, you dont have to stay at the hotel to see/experiance what they have to offer. It just where you lay your head down.. (whatever that time may be!)

Hope this helps you out!

Keep in mind that June is EXTREMELY hot, packed and it's "in season". Which jacks the price up considerably.

Try Sunday through Thursday. email or call reservations and ask them this question. Say you are trying to get your group at a hotel in Las Vegas and want to see if there are any group discounts. It would not hurt to get an offer or two from the Belagio, Rio, Luxor and other places. When they make an offer say "Well so and so offered me a deal for this much. I would rather stay at the Palms, can you match it?" (Don't bluff on this part, they do check your claims.)

Also, try at least three web sites including Vegas.com. They usually get you a better deal than even the hotels own web site.

Go to the Palms website, it's probably the best overall lowest rate you will find. Other sites may offer lower rates, but the fees will end up costing you more. In June you can find some good rates just by changing the week you go so look at their rate calender.

You have to book in this hotel only the months when it's not super busy. Holidays and summers are usually booked up way in advance. I found this out when my family booked hotels for our Orlando, Florida vacation in July. We should have went in the winter, spring, or fall. You could also go online and put in Google, or Yahoo, hotels in Las Vegas, and then you type in the specific hotel and see what you come up with.

My suggestions: 1) Check-in on a week day and not a weekend. 2) Check the convention calendar to make sure there are no major events in town. 3) Book on time.

Here are more tips on how to get discount hotel rooms and flights.
