I'm not going to be 18 by the time we get to choose the Democratic candidate, but in November 2008, I'm voting for whichever one does get the spot. Either one has got to be better than a republican.
If I could choose, I think I would choose Obama. I think that women need more representation and equality, but I think that Obama is better than Clinton.

Hillary, but I dislike the both of them.

I'd choose her over Obama because she's only somewhat liberal where as Obama is far too left to bring a dividing nation closer together. I just don't think it's time for Obama- however if he would have waited just a term or two then maybe America would be ready for such a liberal candidate.

The major issue that is causing me to lean towards Hillary is that her economic campaign adviser denied a claim that she wants to raise the capital gains tax (I watched it on CNBC's Kudlow & Co. 2 weeks ago). Obama wants to raise this crucial tax that the Republican candidates are talking about eliminating. It doesn't matter how bad the budget is, if we raise this tax then there will be chaos on Wall St., especially with the fed having to lower interest rates to save the fiscally irresponsible caught up in the credit crunch.

I also think she will be able to handle the credit crunch better and I like how she wants to end our foreign debt. Obama thinks he can solve the problem just by raising taxes. But don't get me wrong, Hillary is also trying to pull some of that off as well. So I will probably vote for Giuliani or Romney for one term only because I think their financial views are superior and therefore we can avoid a probable recession. Maybe then it will be time for a far leftist like Obama because half of us are okay with being in Iraq for a few more years but I don't think it will outlive 2012.

Plus I like Bill Clinton, and Hillary was a great first lady, so he might be the same. But I won't vote for her if Obama or Edwards is her running mate. Too much left wing for a dividing nation.

Neither. I have voted since 1976 and can't remember 2 candidates I loathe more than Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Woe to American is either is elected.

being a democrat myself.i don;t think either one of them would make a good president.we already have a lier in the white house running the country.or so he thinks.the republicians are;nt much different.there just is;nt anyone worth running for president this time around.so i guess i;ll vote independent this time round.unless someone comes along between now and then who has a good idea on how to straighten out this country of our;s.because for sure the republican party sure has everything screwed up.the mess they made will take years to clean up.if they don;t get us into a third world war first.

stefstud...: You do know she is not running against Bush? So What does that matter? Being better than Bush is a pretty stupid argument...as everyone is better than Bush. AND BUSH IS NOT RUNNING.

Obama: He has integrity. I trust him and think he is going to have the best interests of the country. He is the best chance at change. Clinton is good at the Washington power game...However, I don't like this game and this game is killing America....so lets end it, not keep playing it.

Other than all that I guess it would be his policies.
I do not agree with him on every issue, but overall I think his are the best. I also see him as someone who is going to work with other people better regardless of if they are on his side on all issues or not.
I can't outline all now, but go read http://www.barackobama.com/
It would have all the info you need to know.

So Obama is the best candidate that will come from the Democrats. I also like Dodd.
