I don't think it is a fake, but I think that it is a picture of an animal such as a bear.
The bigfoot expert who says that it looks like a juvenile bigfoot is must making it up. A true expert would be able to compare the picture with other known and proven pictures of the animal and make a comparison. There are no pictures of a bigfoot to compare to. So the guy is just making a guess.
The people who say it is a bear are comparing it against their own person experience and I would not doubt that they would be able to post pictures of what they say it is.

That doesn't look like Bigfoot, OR a bear. Bears can grow to be 9, even 10 feet in height, some of their legs are pretty long.

The article says that the people who know bears say it is a bear. I would think from the bears I have seen in zoos it has too long of legs.

I think it's a semi-naked bear. The shoulders don't brachiate (see the shape, etc.), which indicates that it's a four-legged animal. Bears, like dogs, have quite a bit of hair that makes them look much bigger and more stout than they actually are. If this bear has mange, then it won't have as much hair and the proportions will look exaggerated and creepy. Look at how high and bulgy the shoulders are. And the tail area. Looks like a bear to me, albeit a creepy-looking one.

i did see a pic of a bear with mange and it put me back into skeptical mode because a bear's legs are quite long, they just don't look it with all that hair. i was so sure this must be real due to the limbs, but again the pic of the bear with mange changed my mind.

I think it is nothing. I don't think it is a bear or bigfoot. I think it is photoshopped to get attention.
